The Changing Education Group is committed to best practice, the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks are key to ensure every young person accesses high-quality career guidance to make informed decisions about their future. The Good Career Guidance Report identifies a set of eight benchmarks that educators can use as a framework for improving their career provision.

The 8 Gatsby benchmarks of Good Career Guidance
1. A stable careers programme
2. Learning from career and labour market information
3. Addressing the needs of each pupil
4. Linking curriculum learning to careers
5. Encounters with employers and employees
6. Experiences of workplaces
7. Encounters with further and higher education
8. Personal guidance

The Changing Education Group has commissioned a development project to embed the benchmarks into CONNECT and the Mobile App. This will enable you to report instantly on the benchmarks your provision and delivery models have achieved. We have also completed a consultation with COMPASS+ to ensure educators can report directly into The Careers and Enterprise Company dashboard.
